Paws' "mission is to serve as a community resource to prevent pet homelessness, to protect pets from harm and suffering, and to promote responsible ownership"-Paws. Paws offers services of low cost spay/neutering, financial aid for emergency medical care, a shelter for abused pets, shelter for homeless pets, and humane education.​
